OVERVIEW

During the 2009 and 2010 construction seasons, Trumbull Corporation completed the rehabilitation of the Fort Duquesne Bridge, as well as the associated ramps and interchanges for State Route 279. A 55-foot, single-span bridge deck was replaced as a Design-Build aspect of the project. The other rehabilitation work included latex overlays, painting, steel repairs, expansion dam replacements, concrete deck and substructure repairs, resetting of rocker bearings, signs, and pavement markings.
