OVERVIEW
PJ Dick served as general contractor for construction of new administration building and residential villas at the H. J. Heinz Division, adding a total of 130,000 sf of new construction at that facility. The new 75,000 sf administration building houses consolidated offices for Acquisitions, Fiscal, Human Resources, HIMS and assorted general, administration and patient care support operations. The space also includes a centralized storage area for patient records. This building is certified as LEED Silver.
The 61,000 sf Residential Living Villas replaced the traditional domiciliary program. Clinical services are in the two-story central building along with group dining, recreational facilities, educational resources, and a world-class vocational development center. Six residential buildings (13 total units), with a maximum of four residents per unit, provide patients the opportunity for rehabilitation in a small group living environment.
