OVERVIEW

PJ Dick was part of a design-build team that designed and constructed the 33,000 sf renovation of the Greenberg building, transforming it from an indoor sports complex to an academic center. The new facility is equipped with a “Fueling Station” for student athletes to lounge in, a 42-occupant computer lab, three large study areas, 15 collaborative learning labs, mobile CO rooms, a one-button studio, and administrative offices. All 31 varsity teams on campus use this facility as study space. Construction of this facility took place in an occupied building.

PJ Dick, Penn State, and Hoffman Leaky Architects worked cohesively to reach the completion date ahead of schedule and under budget, allowing occupants to move in a week earlier than planned.
