OVERVIEW
Trumbull constructed a 390,000 cubic yard embankment to provide a 300-foot unpaved runway safety zone at the Rostraver Municipal Airport. The embankment consists of a bottom ash drainage layer, FGD core, and a soil cap. The project was the largest beneficial use of coal combustion by-products in the state and one of the largest in the nation.
