OVERVIEW
PJ Dick provided General Construction services for the 26,000 sf fit-out of retail space for Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) at Settlers Ridge, a 600,000 sf regional center development located in Robinson Township, PA. The project included an ornamental staircase and decorative mezzanine railing, steel and timber trellis area, exposed mechanical and electrical systems and extensive millwork provided by REI and installed by PJ Dick. This project contains a number of sustainable features including low-flow faucets, a bike rack for employees, solar hot water system, and the use of recycled materials throughout the building. This is the second project PJ Dick constructed for REI. The previous project, located in the SouthSide Works development in Pittsburgh’s SouthSide neighborhood, was completed in October 2005.
