OVERVIEW

PJ Dick served as the general trades contractor for this $56.8 million, 588,000 sf, multipurpose arena on the campus of Ohio State University. The facility is a state-of-the-art complex constructed of a concrete and steel frame with a masonry exterior. The facility accommodates basketball, hockey and other entertainment venues such as concerts, family shows and touring productions. The floors are made up of a combination of stone of various colors set in different pathways and channels to form a floorscape. The exquisite and sprawling donors club level hosts 52 luxury suites encircling the entire arena are adorned with beautiful wood panels and plush furniture. The facility also houses a sports hall of fame, a two-floor auxiliary gym, locker rooms and dressing rooms for performing entertainers.
