Kirwan Heights, 21 bridges

Trumbull Corporation, with its Joint Venture partner and sister company, Lindy Paving Incorporated, provided general construction services for the reconstruction of 5.89 miles of Interstate 79. The major aspects of the work included full-depth Superpave asphalt pavement and shoulders, the total reconstruction of three interchanges, replacement or rehabilitation of twenty-one bridges, construction of four culverts and installation of two retaining walls. Additional items included the installation of highway lighting, an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), variable message signs, guide rail, signing, and pavement markings.
