OVERVIEW

PJ Dick provided general contracting services for the renovation and addition work to two areas of the existing Jewish Association on Aging (JAA) facility (Charles M. Norris Nursing and Rehab Center). The major focus of the project was the renovation of approximately 17,403 gsf of an existing nursing care facility space, including the addition of a new living room/gathering space and three porch additions to the southwest portion of the lower level of the complex of buildings known as the Ellsworth neighborhood. The scope of the project included the renovation of the service kitchen and dining areas within that space. Exterior courtyard areas that are part of this portion of the project include a captive courtyard of 1,457 sf and an exterior enclosure of 4,150 sf.
