OVERVIEW

Trumbull Corporation constructed the largest curved girder bridge in the state of Pennsylvania. The new bridge replaces the old State Route 128 steel bridge structure which was built in 1914. A high performance steel was used that is lighter in weight than normal steel used for bridge building. The material is also known for its ability to weather well and not require painting. This project marks the largest use to date of this new metal for a bridge structure.
