OVERVIEW
PJ Dick provided Design-Build services for a new correctional facility. The two-compound, 1,120-bed minimum security facility was constructed in two phases. Phase 1 included housing, administration, security, education, food services, visiting and support for approximately 560 inmates. This phase also provided a new East Compound which totaled approximately 159,000 gsf and included two two-story, 280-bed housing units; a one-story support services building; a recreation yard; a perimeter fence system with sally port and entrance security post; access roads; and a parking area. Phase 1 also featured the following site work: grading, storm water management system and off-site utilities for both compounds.
