Project Receives Wide Recognition

The Fort Pitt Bridge and Tunnel Project, one of the most challenging yet successful projects for Trumbull Corporation, received industry recognition from state and local organizations for design innovation, commercial success, benefit to society, and enhancing social and economic welfare. Awards received included:
- The "Pennsylvania Partnership for Highway Quality (PPHQ) Design Award" was given for innovation design of a highway system at the Annual Transportation Industry Spring Conference. The selection was based on the design concepts utilized, design configuration, new technology, and overall appearance.
- The Engineers Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP) "Project of the Year" award was presented at the Society's Annual Meeting. Award criteria was based on technical innovation, commercial success, and benefit to society.
- American Consultant Engineering Council of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA) "Grand Conceptor Award" recognized Trumbull's outstanding contributions in enhancing the social and economic welfare of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and its citizens.
