Trumbull Corporation, a heavy/highway general contractor and construction manager, is seeking a SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER for construction projects in the Harrisburg, PA area. Trumbull offers a competitive benefits and compensation package. Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience working on heavy civil, highway, and/or bridge construction and have direct experience working with the PA Department of Transportation, turnpike authorities, as well as other types of public agency clients. Candidates must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of HCSS Heavy Job & Heavy Bid, AutoCAD, and/or Primavera 6 is highly desired. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills; since this position is accountable for RFIs, submittals, scheduling, budgeting, project purchases, management of subcontractors and suppliers, management of other specialties and consultants on the project, and for owner satisfaction at the completion of a job. Although this position is assigned to the Harrisburg territory, qualified candidates must be willing to travel. The position reports to a Project Manager or Regional Manager directly and may also have supervisory responsibilities as a leader of other engineers or project site field personnel.
